# Compensation

It is in the interest of the MozaicDAO to incentivise Senate members to remain active and engaged over the course of their term. Significant contributions to the protocol such as this should be recognised by the MozaicDAO and rewarded as such. 

A proposal will be put forth to the MozaicDAO to ‘activate’ discussions on how this will be paid and/or structured.
