# Responsibilities

### Senate Responsibilities

* Attend monthly meetings with the other Senate members, the core contributors and advisors of the Mozaic protocol. 
* Decide on whether a proposal should be posted to Snapshot based on the discussions, feedback and comments of token holders.
  * Majority rules 4/7 - unless there is very strong opposition from the other three members and/or Token holders.
* Propose ideas and opportunities to the protocol through discussion and/or proposals themselves.
* Encourage and action growth within the Mozaic ecosystem and beyond.

The above only serves as a *guide* to the Mozaic Senate, it is by no means is an exhaustive list. Responsibilities may also expand as the MozaicDAO matures or where a situation arises that causes additional responsibilities to be added.
